This clock represents the current proximity of the rising of the American people in revolution against a government which grows increasingly destructive of the ends of safeguarding their liberty by itself having become a suffocating and enervating oppressor, through both well-intentioned but ignorant foolishnesses, and outright corruption. It is currently 4 minutes to Midnight, thanks to the rank corruption of the current executive branch and the craven syncophancy of the legislature, both unchecked by a judiciary which long ago gave up the fight.
